There were many animated briars that were lashing out. In all fairness, I did do the best that I could... and if I didn't, I most likely would have died. Unfortunately, this was as best as it could have gotten...

[ Though the blood splatter doesn't really match up. She's been bleeding from her side waist-level, but the blood was all over her clothes, even way above the wound. I guess she still smells a bit like pine now. ]
