Having a relationship like this in The City with the nature of everything, especially in the Backstreets, is usually a laughable idea. People die all the time. You never know when they'll just leave or die. I definitely couldn't even think of having one in my situation either.

[ So the fact that she can do this now, it feels... refreshing. Relieving. She really likes that feeling and sometimes she feels that she can't get enough of it. ]

From what you've told me, ignoring the whole part where The City's not exactly a hotbed for feelings and emotions and all that, you've not had a lot to call yours. [ he shrugs. it doesn't bother him. talking about how you feel is tough for a lot of people -- that she was able and willing to tell gregor and rodion says a lot about her relationship with them, despite what she'll eventually tell him about them not knowing each other long. ]
