Guess that solved your question about if it was them. I got a message from Eunhyuk, although I should probably think of something more to ask him that just "is this a prank?"
Eunhyuk said Luke's the one who figured out how to send messages between us and... whereevere they are? Using those passcode messages. The message we got wasn't the one they input, it got jumbled on its way to us.
[ he looks thoughtful. ] That, or do you think they might've been wandering around all this time without being noticed?
I just assumed it was referring to the senior crew -- when they announce who's been decomissioned, everything's already locked down for Saturday.
Don't the senior crew also fall asleep, but for a shorter time than us? I forgot which member it was, but they mentioned that they could be killed too.
[ hmmm. ]
Then there's the password access for one of the computers...? I wonder if that's relevant.
If it's a shorter time than us, then they're awake before us. [ ... ] I guess if we said something like "was anyone in this group awake before this point in time", it'd count all of them in that group too?
[ is that what the message was saying...? ]
...
I guess anyone on the ship's a fair target. [ he looks... a little uncomfortable with the idea though. ]
Password access... I'm not sure any of the computers have been locked when I've gone to the library.
[ It's complicated and it has Yuri scratching her head a little. ]
If we could have a stricter timeframe, that would make it better, but we have to be open to possibilities. There's a chance that there's a strong red herring this time too, if it involves the "innocent person who happened to be awake". I hope we don't have to look for two culprits again...
[ Yuri thinks back at the hangman and their own scrambled encryption.
She suddenly has no hope in cracking the password. ]
There are other ways we could use it. If someone has a suspicious injury, you could ask if they got that after we all fell asleep two nights ago, something like that. [ … ] We used both of our items last week though, so maybe this won’t be relevant in the end.
[ …
i can’t wait for us to spiral. shakes. ]
We have two bodies. More than likely, it’s two culprits. Whether we’ll find them or not’s the big question.
[ Yuri quietly sighs and leans back onto the backrest of the seat. There are so many things to think about. ]
Shu, do you have anything that would be useful to send over to... "the deceased"?
[ It feels weird to refer to them by such even if that's what they are. ]
I was planning to gather transcripts and information and lay them out on the library floor on Tuesday, because I can't send them by messages. It would be better if they could just read them if I have them out. They say that they can see things if it's out there, such as us being in public with everyone.
Nothing that I've uncovered looking around, no. I was just thinking of getting some general information out of them, if we can. My message fron Eunhyuk was censored a bit, so I'm not sure how much would get through to us.
[ oh... they're voyeurs now. being dead gives you interesting hobbies. ]
So, if we let them know in advance and had the information there for them to look at they'd be on the same page as us. That's the thought?
Scien's message also took two days for it to reach me. I sent him a reply today, so I think Tuesday would be a good timeframe. I also want them to know that the cryopods might have something to do with creating corporeal bodies and putting their... selves back inside it. That's what happened to Amalthea, at least.
They're also cold to the touch. It's what they told me, but they don't know the science behind it and they kept brushing off the topic when I wanted to know more. Apparently, Io wouldn't know much about it either.
They said they were here looking for their master -- obviously it was important enough for them to go through all this, regardless of what that entailed but...
[ he trails off. ]
... So, they have ways to bring the dead back to life, essentially.
You said it showed you an idealised version of your life before everything with your corp went down. Do you think some of that was an idealised versio of Amalthea's life...?
I'm... not sure, actually. There were many scenarios where it definitely didn't seem ideal, and Amalthea asked us... if we could fix the scenario, what should we suggest? And those suggestions came true.
I wonder if their memories were more malleable somehow. Easier to influence. I’m just speculating, but it’s weird that you, Rosamund and Nodd wouldn’t be able to change anything, but you could in Amalthea’s.

[ hmm. ]
Which one? The one after the decommissions?

I wonder if it's a new thing that there are other unrelated people being awake during that period...
[ ... ]
What did he say?

They also stated that after the change, their changed personality was what they were all along. Their "true self"...

I wonder if any of the others have had shifts in personality like this…

I've never actually touched any of them. I wonder.
