Glasses kinda
are
the adaptation. Probably a pain if you're fighting or working out and they slip down your nose though?

They say if your senses are lacking in some way, the others work double time to make up for it. Like people with glasses have really good hearing.

Living in The City is dangerous for anyone, especially the Backstreets. People dying often or disappearing is... normal.

So I won't have to worry about it anymore if I don't return. There seems to be some self-defense needed here, but it doesn't feel as dire.
