It's alright. I think it's a timeline issue. I didn't die yet, but in Gregor and presumably Rodya's, I did. The last thing I remembered was a monster attacking me and that could have been how I met my end in their perspectives.

[a little nod as she takes that in.]

... Interesting. I had thought it was just me and Temenos. [head tilt.] Is there a way to prevent that?

If I don't go back. I never planned on returning, so it works out well for me.

[ Like, yeah, shes talking about her possible death, but she seems pretty satisfied with it. ]

Fair enough. Would you go back with Gregor and Rodya? Or do you mean something else as far as opportunities?

[ She shakes her head no. ]

We're from different companies and it's not guaranteed that I would be able to work with them. Moreover, my status as an outcast can't be erased, so the stigma will always follow me there. Rodya was the one who offered me to join their group. Even if it would be denied by the higher-ups, I really appreciated the sentiment back then.

[she figures if yuri wants her to stop asking questions she'll tell her, so throné just settles in.]

... Outcast, huh?

I was associated with a corporation that went under, since that was where I worked before. There's a very heavy stigma about that sort of thing in The City.

Your City sounds like it's built around these corporations, from what I've heard.

What do you do, then, if you're unlikely to be picked up by the others?

[ Yuri nods. ]

The most I could do was obtain a license for becoming a Fixer and hoping to join an Office. They're for-hire workers... some compare them to mercenaries. I'm just a contract worker, so I didn't really have stable income, if at all.
