[ On this day, Yuri had been purposefully seeking out Sora. There's a wave of curiosity flowing out of her via vibes all the way there. She eventually finds her near the huge glass windows where the stars can be seen. ]
The duty of the Jingu family is to protect the world from the dangers brought to them. Every moment the world is free from influences causing destruction is a moment happier than before, isn't it?
[There's a burst of love when she says:]
I'm working towards a world full of happiness and safety.
[It's a sincere love, intense and almost blinding. The world she cares about must be extremely important for her]
[Of course, Haki! If there's anything in particular you want to have happened in the previous thread, please feel free to tell me!
Yeah, that last hour was pretty rough for Sora, especially physically. Uf. Perhaps that's why Sora is spending so much time at the lounge, staring at the stars. By the time Yuri finds her, Sora probably has calmed down a lot, now left with an uneasy vibe. You wouldn't be able to know if it wasn't for the emotionshare, though. Sora is real good at keeping her composure]
[ Sora is always good at keeping her composure, is what Yuri learned throughout the week here. She understands the uneasy vibe though, since all that happened and she remembers when Sora was getting hounded over the item that she didn't want to show or talk about to anyone.
Anyway, she walks over to Sora with a small medkit (A small, refillable medical kit, pre-packed for your potential bumps and bruises [1 minor heal]). ]
Mrs. Jingu... how are you faring? Are you alright?
Ah, Ms. Yuri. I'm presently alright. [She notices the medkit, smiling a bit] Since it was all a simulation, anything that happened there didn't last too long. Please, don't fret too much.
[As Todomatsu and Shoma can attest, though, Sora had a terrible time, because even though it was simulated the suffering it gave was real]>/small>
[ Yuri is at Book 'Em, the bookstore in the new planet they arrived in. She's checking out the bestsellers section and... squints... at this when she flips to a random page. ]
[...that's one of the strangest comments Sora has heard from someone checking out a book. She turns her head, while Sora was busy checking some vampire romance -- and not likign them, but yeah!]
...normie? Where did you find such a term?
[Sora knows what a normie is! Teenagers, they use a lot of that fancy lingo]
It's not a term difficult to understand. To put it simply, it's the way to refer to those who are ignorant about something you like.
[That's such a simple explanation, perhaps too much, but it's what Sora knows. She probably has heard students at her school say it but she never approached them all 'how do you do fellow kids' style, hah]
Oh, I was mistaken. You seemed rather vacant there. [And Yuri being deep in thought was the best case scenario. If it wasn't this, then...] Did the trial's revelations depress you?
There's Yuri with a white haired girl. They both wield weapons: a glowing red sword for Yuri and something akin to a plasma gun for the other. It seems that they're working together, standing above a pool of blood of where the deceased remain. Yuri quietly breathes out.
"Aya... are you done yet?"
"Just a minute~"
She says in a singsong voice. This Aya girl is very chipper for such a scenario. Perhaps they're used to it. At the very least, Aya is checking something out while Yuri seems to stand on guard. It looks like a bloodied skull. Yuri flicks one of the organs away with her sword so that it won't bother Aya in the proximity. She doesn't want her to slip on it, after all.
"We worked so hard, Yuri~ Let's eat hot pot later tonight. It'll be fun~ Maybe we can bring Hopkins too, but if he's still in a hangry mood, I'll warn him~"
Yuri flicks the blood off her sword. It splatters on the ground.
"Let's go eat dinner. That's enough work for the day. Maybe someday... I'll earn a promotion."
"Of course, Yuri~ You work so hard. You'll be recognized soon!" ]
[Wow, that's rather gruesome indeed! And yet when the memory happens, Sora watches impassively, as if this was the most natural thing ever. The gore gets no reaction from her at all. She does focus her eyes on Yuri in the memory, though. Huh...]
You're taking this quite better than I thought you would, Ms. Yuri. You always seem rather astonished by the roughness of this place.
[ The memory disintegrates after that's done. They're still in the void though. It's black everywhere as if it's waiting to play the next episode (which also means that I also want a memshare from Sora and I am fine with spoilers and any cws). It'll take some time though.
Yuri stands there. The only notable change from Yuri from W3 is a little decal made up of three icicles that's stuck onto the gauze. ]
... I thought this would have been different from The City. So many people are nice here. To have those sort of people dying without personal cause... I got attached. My expectations and hopes were promptly dashed.
[The chess piece is over there, moving around at a more private corner of the place. After a moment, though, it manages to glitch momentarily, showing a black and blue mess of shapes with a sinister vibe. Well, if that form won't work...]
Perhaps...
[It glitches again, this time showing a more familiar woman, who similarly peters out because this isn't going to work all that well, unfortunately]
I suppose I'm condemned to being a chess piece for a while.
Would you believe me if I told you being a chess piece is somewhat...more comforting? You all know by now: I'm not human. Never have been and never will be.
A form difficult to understand is more fitting for me.
[.......]
But having limbs would be nice.
[So after a moment, beardluc does pop out of the chess piece again]
You seem to be in good health, Yuri. Hi!
[This is undoubtedly the same woman Yuri has known, but something about the vibe feels...different. Sora Jingu always seemed somewhat off to a few people, and that's partly because her vibe was always a little bit rancid despite what attitude she tried to have. Such feeling is gone now, though. This feels like someone who has let go from a humongous weight. She even is more informal, not even bothering to append Ms. and emoting cheerfully for once. For someone who died, she's doing great!]
[Yeah, this week probably will have her last experiences as a human, for a very, very long time. Perhaps that's why she's willingly coming along without any objections at all, leaving aside that she does like Yuri's company]
A crane game...I think I tried to do this one a few years ago. Perhaps now I'll do better than back then?

Excuse me... could I have some of your time?

I couldn't help but to see that you had "creating a happier world" on the profile... Does that have to do with the daemons that you mentioned before?

You seem deep in thought. Care to share, MS. Yuri?
[Well, she interpreted that as that Yuri has a lot to think about]

--Huh? Oh... no, I'm... I wasn't thinking about anything.
