Keep talking like that and I will let these puppies bury you.

[ She will be attacked by paws and enthusiastic puppy mouths and whatnot. ]
baebladie: (You'll never make it)

Tch.

[ Blade cannot 'command' puppies and he knows it. Though...something else occurs to him. ]

...Perhaps it is their love for you that will be their downfall. Such simple creatures will suffocate you in their embrace.
baebladie: (Got a story of your own)

[ Dying by being loved by puppies...what an inglorious end... ]

...Let us see you say that when you have a waterfall of undignified slobber on your face.

[ Unbelievable. ]
baebladie: (that it's like that)

[ Blade flashbacks to his laughing crimes just a scant moment or so ago (which he doesn't regret), though still. ]

A form of love...

Saying it like that sounds ridiculous.

[ But he has a problem, and it is that he thinks he can't quite refute that. ]
baebladie: (for me)

I never said anything like that.

[ Blade words come out in a small huff, even knowing that this is a losing battle!! ]

As for the other matter...they only waste such sentiments on myself due to their inability to think better.
baebladie: (But I know you’re on the right track)

[ .........wow... ]

Emotionally intelligent, but even if there is no limit to their sentiments, and love should be free...is it always worth it to be that way?
baebladie: (that it's like that)

...

[ Blade looks back down at that happy face and then back over at hers, pausing for a moment, and he will even pat its head gently. ]

No, you're right. Perhaps for them, ignorance is bliss, but it serves such creatures well enough, where it could hardly serve a person just as well.
