[ Yuri is at Hippitea today, in which she has little red bear ears on top of her head, but no other changes. She's drinking a boba smoothie in honeydew flavor all content while seated at one of the cute furniture until she chokes on multiple bobas and is just kinda... curling up in her seat with her head on the table. Help. ]

Ahh, yeah, you have to be careful with that. Sometimes it's kind of hard to tell what's coming up the straw until it's already flying at your throat.

Have you had drinks like this before, or is it not really a thing where you're from?

I feel like there would be drinks like this, but I haven't had the chance to drink them. It's too much of a luxury item for me to have, but since I'm no longer there, I can enjoy many more things on the ship.

There are unlimited clothes to try out too, and the music store... so many movies... It feels wasteful to not try any of them at any given time when I can.

Yeah, having all these clothing options is great! Though it still makes me wonder why we had to deal with just two sets of clothes for more than a week if all this stuff was here all along...

[ granted, it did make clothes checks during trials a lot easier, but fuck that. ]

Did you see the movie theater we got access to this week too? That'll be way better than watching in the rec room.

Hm, I don't know if I've had that kind specifically, but honey's usually pretty good in sauces, and I think it's hard to go wrong with chicken wings!

Nope! Here for the food, and maybe betting on some races. I've found that I much prefer it on this side of the racetrack.

Oh, no, I don't even have a license yet. It was just a thing this sketchy guy we know arranged as a competition to determine who would get to be the protagonist of our show.

It was kind of like real life M*rio Kart, but, um, more violent.

[ Yuri watched youtube shorts of people being violent over Mario Kart, so even more violent than that... The other things he says confuses her. Was he also part of a TV reality show...?? ]

About that meeting tomorrow— I think having it on the ship is a bad idea, especially after publicly announcing it in advance and giving whoever or whatever is working against us a heads up as to when and where they should listen in.

I think we should do it down on the planet somewhere — one of the parts that's underwater, where the ship's communication system would have a harder time reaching. So keep saying it's in the lounge or whatever publicly, but we can privately pass the real location on to each other. Just in case.

Those are valid points and I understand your concerns. However, I wanted to put it out there for a purpose. A part of it was so that the deceased could listen in as well, even if it's pretty much a one-sided conversation with them, and we don't know if they have access to the planets like we do. I don't think that I can send them a private message for it to be on time either.

Don't they see the delivery missions we do on the planets each week, though? When I asked how much they could see before, no one mentioned not being able to see those. I guess that could be linked to the communication system, but...

But I think just "can the dead see us when we do things on the planet as a group, like when we do the weekly deliveries" is prrrrobably a simple enough question to answer, unless his memory of it got wiped or something? No one glitched out before when they were answering questions about that in that virtual world like they did when it came to other things.
