To have time to move on after being ready... is a luxury. Now that I have so much of it, I'm not sure what to do with it. Having to move on without a second thought has been so ingrained into me that it feels slow in comparison. I suddenly have so much freedom of what I can do. I'm at a loss. That's why if I can't get used to it. I can help others instead...

Are you afraid to get used to it because things might be different again when we leave this ship? Like maybe it's better to treat things the same as you would at home so that the shift isn't as painful later.

Maybe it will be. I don't know how other places are like, and I won't be returning to The City for sure. I think it's already painful enough...

...think it depends on the place and what you're like as a person. Some places are kinder to certain people than others. But for the most part I want to think other places might be okay.
