I ate. I was actually trying to get Gregor to eat... Io really helped take care of us too.

Ah, right. Gregor was complaining last night about how stubborn Io was and that he made him eat.

He did. [...] We did have a bit of a gossip session with Arthur, Ichiban, and Rodya, though, and I think that cheered him up for a while.

... I'm glad. Thank you for keeping him company. I really appreciate it... and he most likely did as well.

Better than spending the night completely miserable, even if the happiness is fleeting, right?

Perhaps it's because that happiness is fleeting... that it should be appreciated even more.

... Yeah. I think that's a good way to see things. Life isn't easy, but we make the best of it that we can and cherish what we do.

What did you usually talk about with Gregor?

Hm... well, day to day things, you know? Our homes, interesting things that happened like Gregor being haunted by birds, what happened at trial, etc. Also went overnight camping in the cliffs in one of the earlier planets when he was running away from everyone teasing him about the goat...

Oh... was that when they were teasing him about kissing the goat that was Viktor at the time?

[ Kisses...... ]

Yeah. I don't think they knew at the time that he kissed the goat, but he was feeling pretty shy over everyone telling him to!

[and so off gregor ran into the cliffs with charles for overnight camping in the wilderness]

[ Aw, Gregor. That's so cute. Yuri... would not know what to do in that sort of situation, but she did kiss one of the animals' heads before. It was a real dog, apparently?? ]

I'm glad he could confide in someone. I feel that he wouldn't have told anyone.

Well, I'll admit I'm also a little nosy sometimes. But I'm glad, too, that he was comfortable.
