[ Yuri is waiting outside the medbay, seated and playing Suika on her IRIS to keep her mind off the wounded people in there and it's just... she feels so guilty. After hours or so pass, she eventually walks inside. ]
[ This is a little after she used enough of the pod to seal her wound at the very least. Just taking a break. No one wants to be in a pod for 12 hours straight.
[ Yuri is in a comfy t-shirt, sweatpants, and a cardigan. She looks pretty healthy now... Anyway, she's been looking for Charles. Where is she going to find him? ]
[ The mods have approved turbo healing for this, so Yuri seems all good by nighttime. She's still in the medbay though, because she's not going to go run out the moment she steps out of the pod. She's still good about taking care of herself, but she's a little disoriented, so she's sitting on a cot. ]

CEM waves are a strange element found in the galaxy that hasn't been studied quite enough. It shows in countless of frequencies, likely the potential of their effects are beyond our understanding. Upon seeing the initial gathering of a storm where many CEM wave frequencies come together, we have noticed that the waves become visible. It is not in the way of usual galactic storm clouds, those come after the storm is formed. Instead, they take on the appearance of a pink haze, mist, or clouds.
There have been records of a couple of sightings. The sightings are extremely few, so we are unsure if it's the trick of the eye or not. I believe a pattern is still worth noting to record and keep in mind for future studies. It would help us understand the nature of this spreading phenomenon and learn to mitigate its influence. There was an article that referenced a mysterious object that could be a ward which interests me greatly, but that is a temporary solution or a viewfinder to the problem at hand. Seeking the source and destroying it could prevent the waves from spreading and taking over. Ideally, this would exterminate them.
We have tried to gather a sample and extract data from it, but the physical form would disappear from sight and we are left with similar results to usual CEM waves. I still believe that this element is completely foreign from this dimension.
