I can't really say anything, because I'm not exactly eager about the whole strip check thing myself. But we probably need to make it easier to persuade the few people who won't when we need them too.
[ ... ] I guess he did when asked though. In the end.
The rabbit ears droop further down over her face. The one that Shu is pulling is definitely way down. She can't tell him not to not take off his shirt in the future then?? ]
[ it is now a roulette if he will or he won’t. he stops tugging that ear and pats it instead. ]
You can look or not look, the context makes it pretty clinical either way. I’m not sure how accurate injury checking will be with medical pods available, especially if someone uses one during the night. But we did use that knowledge effectively last week.
[ always pet she's just like that for other reasons ]
... I don't think that can be helped if we don't have much to go off of as we wait for the first round of investigations and corpse checks to be finished. I would prefer some sort of tangent to a complete silence.
[ ... ]
I also don't think some of us can be as clinical as you, Shu
Maybe checking pockets or something. But we don’t really know what we’re looking for at first so… [ sigh. ] I’m not a police officer, so it’s not like I know much about running an investigation or anything like that.
Yes, that was incredibly helpful ruling out what could have happened and identifying what other evidence was.
[ Her rabbit ears disappear and now she just sprouts a small tree, not even a third of a meter tall from the top of her head with a single golden apple. ]
Yeah, I wonder where that came from. Someone asked the senior crew during the trial didn’t they?
It meant we figured out a way to link different locations right out the gate based on the glitter left behind, but there was definitely other evidence out there.
The field of vision was so much wider. I was... glad that I could see more, but it also felt a little overwhelming. My depth perception had to be reworked a little as well.
You don't really think about it the other way around-- [ lost eyes don't exactly come back, after all. ]-- but... yeah. There's bound to be an adjustment period there.
Did you keep bumping into things, or missing things?

[ none arm. ]

[ Or something. Yuri was also shocked at what was under the blanket aside from the no arm thing. ]
no subject
No. It was just quicker, like I said.

... Okay, then I'll just... not look.

... We did, yes. Doing those checks is just to be thorough at this point.

Probably need to avoid getting as distracted as we did in the future though. We really got focused on days per year for a while there.
[ the logical thing to say, but i think it’s funny and we should keep doing it. ]
… More time for everyone to change behind privacy screens that way. [ be nice ]

[ maybe the tangents are important. ]
That’s probably a good thing.

[ closes eyes... she heard her and throne arguing about this behind the screen in the second trial ]
Maybe we should suggest to the senior members to bring some more potential evidence for us to start with.
no subject
More potential evidence? Like the snowglobe pieces, you mean?

I think it saved some time. I still couldn't figure anything out though...
[ The small tree wilts and the golden apple drops. ]
no subject
[ ah. hang on, his hand whips out to catch the apple. reflexes. ]
Figuring it out’s a whole other thing. We were really down to the wire.
no subject
... As we usually are, right? Where did that come from...?

Oh, that reminds me... I had two eyes on Monday.
[ She brings up the photo on her IRIS to show Shu. Two whole gray eyes!! ]

... [ he blinks, before leaning in to get a better look at the picture on her IRIS. two whole eyes! ] How'd you find having both eyes again?
